Sarkaaru Noukari teaser: Singer Sunitha’s son Akash Goparaju debuts in a rural dramedy inspired by true incidents

Sarkaaru Noukari marks the acting debut of popular singer Sunitha’s son Akash Goparaju. Bhavana Vazhapandal plays his on-screen romantic interest in the film directed by popular cinematographer Shekar Ganganamoni. Legendary filmmaker Raghavendra Rao is bankrolling the film under RK Teleshow which is gearing up for a release soon. Sandilya Pisapati scores the music.

Commemorating the silver jubilee anniversary of Raghavendra Rao’s production house RK Telehsow, the film’s teaser was launched today amidst the presence of several dignitaries in the industry. The story revolves around a humble youngster, who’s thrilled about securing a government. His overjoyed parents even plan to get him married and his future wife has rosy dreams about their life together.

There’s a lot of anticipation among the villagers about the government job-holder who’s set to commence his duties. He rides a cycle to work for a job in the premises of a hospital. The protagonist is confused by the activity in the hospital. A group of children play cricket while a bunch of women are not too impressed by his presence. Later, the conversation shifts to the use of ‘nirodh’ - a condom.

The youngster is insulted by an elderly man who threatens to rip him apart if he appears anywhere in his vicinity. Where is the tale headed? The film is inspired by a series of true incidents in Kollapur in 1996. Tanikella Bharani, Madhu Latha, Mahaadev, Sai Srinivas, Sudhakar Reddy, Sammeta Gandhi and Mani Chandana essay key roles as well in the rural dramedy.

Suresh Bobbili is working on the film’s background score and Raghavendra Varma is the editor. Ravi Kumar Gurram is the art director and Kovelamudi Madhavi is the executive producer respectively. Shekar Ganganamoni has written the story and cranked the camera for the project. The release date of the film will be announced shortly.
