Sarfira box office collection day 2: Akshay Kumar and Radhika Madan starrer Sarfira released in cinemas on 12th July. The film took a dull start at the box office on its first day by collecting just Rs. 2.5 crore. However, the Sudha Kongara directorial has seen a 70% jump on day 2.
Sarfira Box Office Update
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Sarfira minted Rs. 4.25 crore at the box office on its first Saturday. The total collection of the film now stands at Rs. 6.75 crore. The movie had an overall occupancy of 21.76 percent in Hindi which went on to 26.31 percent in the evening shows.
Akshay Kumar's last film Bade Miyan Vhote Miyan was a big flop at the box office and hence he needs to bounce back with good numbers with Sarfira. As the Saturday collections of the film saw an upward trend, it is expected that the Sunday collection of the film will be around the same numbers. However, the real test of the film will start on the first working day, Monday. Let's wait and watch how the movie fares with its positive word of mouth at the ticket window.

Sarfira is facing tough competition with Kamal Haasan's Indian 2 at the box office and has a week to itself before Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk starrer Bad Newz will hit the screens and take over multiple screens.
Made over a budget of Rs 100 crore, Sarfira is the Hindi remake of the National Award-winning Tamil film Soorarai Pottry, which starred Suriya in the lead role. The film also won five awards at the 68th National Film Awards.
Directed by Sudha Kongara, Sarfira is produced by Vikram Malhotra's Abundantia Entertainment, Jyothika's 2D Entertainment, and Akshay Kumar's Cape of Good Films. Besides Akshay Kumar, the film also features Paresh Rawal, Radhika Madan, and Seema Biswas in pivotal roles.
