Koffee with Karan has returned for an eighth season, and with it comes the return of the iconic couch and the show's most popular host, Karan Johar. The third episode will include the pairing of Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday after having the couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh and siblings Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol grace the couch. As per the latest reports, on the eighth episode of Koffee with Karan, Sara finally discusses her long-publicised penchant for thrift shopping at length.
Sara Ali Khan opens up about thrift shopping and luxury choices
When asked about the same, the actor is heard saying that it's not like she doesn't have expensive bags and shoes. But Sara doesn't see the point in spending a fortune on luxury clothes when she feels just as good in Zara. She believes in her ability to pull it off successfully and went on to say that she isn't trying to appear approachable by doing this.
Sara added that she doesn't use it to appear approachable, but perhaps what she needs to be cognizant of is that she is an actor and that she has a sizable Instagram following. The actor is putting herself out there; therefore, this is crucial. Sara remarked, "Perception is everything."
Balancing authenticity and image
She continued saying that what she needs to watch out for is coming across as lazy; she shouldn't come across as unkept, so maybe she doesn't need oil in her hair, but the actor doesn't think she will ever say, "Oh, I need a blow dry; I am going to the airport." Sara added that she won't apologise for thinking that's absurd.
Season 8 of Koffee with Karan is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar right now. The other guests that will be gracing the couch are Kareena Kapoor Khan-Alia Bhatt, Kajol-Rani Mukerji, and Ajay Devgn-Rohit Shetty, to mention a few.
