Ae Watan Mere Watan will premiere on Prime Video

Seven months after announcing Ae Watan Mere Watan, Sara Ali Khan has finally wrapped the shoot of the film. The actor took to her Instagram page and shared a few BTS photos from the sets while announcing the wrap. In the photos, Sara is seen in her look from the film, wearing a white saree and a simple bindi with a plaited hairdo. She is also seen holding the clapperboard and posing with the director of Ae Watan Mere Watan, Kannan Iyer.
While sharing the post, Sara quoted Mahatma Gandhi by stating, "Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever."
She further wrote about how she is feeling about being a part of Ae Watan Mere Watan, which read as "Thank you, Kannan sir, for choosing me to portray this powerful character—a true personification of strength, dignity, and passion. Some parts stay etched in our souls, and I know I will carry this one with me forever."

Ae Watan Mere Watan, written by Darab Farooqui and Kannan Iyer, is a true-crime drama thriller. Under the auspices of Dharmatic Entertainment, Kannan Iyer is directing, and Apoorva Mehta, Somen Mishra, and Karan Johar are producing the film. The film is set to premiere directly on Prime Video, and the release date has not been announced by the makers yet.
Meanwhile, Sara will next be seen in Murder Mubarak, which is directed by Homi Adajania. The film has an ensemble cast that includes Dimple Kapadia, Karisma Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, and Sanjay Kapoor, among others.
The actor also stars in Laxman Utekar's upcoming directorial, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, opposite Vicky Kaushal. The title of the film was announced a couple of weeks ago. However, the release date of the romantic drama has yet to be announced.
