Sara Ali Khan's new movie Gaslight, directed by Pawan Kripalani, is releasing on March 31, on Disney+ Hotstar. The mystery-thriller film also stars Vikrant Massey and Chitrangda Singh

Sara Ali Khan is busy promoting her upcoming film - mystery-thriller Gaslight. During one of her recent interviews, the actress opened up about her failures at the box office. Sara said that her past releases have made her question her choices as an artiste, and motivated her to concentrate more on scripts that will bring her “creative freedom”.
Sara admitted to losing “touch with reality a bit”. She said, “I like to see things for what they are, and I think that in 2019 for various reasons I was not able to do that. I was not really seeing the mirror for what it was.” Sara made her debut with Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath, alongside the late Suhant Singh Rajput. In 2018, she starred alongside Ranveer Singh in Rohit Shetty’s Simmba. Later, she saw a downfall Love Aaj Kal, Coolie No. 1 and Atrangi Re didn’t perform well at the box office.
Earlier this year, she admitted that her performance in Love Aaj Kal was “horrible”. While speaking about Coolie No.1, Sara claimed that she signed the film due to its credentials of being a massy entertainer. “I thought this film would be a huge massy entertainer with great songs, colours and fun,” she added.
Apart from Gaslight, she will be next seen in Ae Watan Mere Watan, Anurag Basu’s Metro… In Dino, and two other untitled projects with Homi Adajania and Laxman Utekar. Talking about her upcoming projects, Sara said that she feels proud in doing such work and is 100% convinced.
Sara stars alongside Chitrangda Singh and Vikrant Massey in Pawan Kripalani’s Gaslight. The film will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on March 31.
