Saqib Saleem on starring in a horror-comedy

Speaking about the film, Saqib Saleem says that it was great for him to star in a horror comedy as he has not done this ever before. He said, "I had not done a horror comedy before. Also, I get to play this simpleton from a village called Ratori. It was great. I have either been a chocolate boy next door or shown washboard abs or played a sport. Here was a film allowing me to play a simpleton and making me do something I had never done before. It was a great genre to start the shift with."

Further speaking about collaborating with Aditya Sarpotdar, the actor said that Aditya is a sharp director and he knows exactly what he wants. He revealed that the director was seeing it in a certain way and he precisely conveyed all that to the actors. "It helps that he is a guy with whom work feels like work of passion.
