Natural Star Nani released the Telugu trailer of the Rakshit Shetty starrer Sapta Sagaradaache Ello, which will be in theatres on September 22

If you’ve seen the trailer of Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side A, or the film itself, you will know how integral ‘Katte’ is to the relationship between Priya (Rukmini Vasanth) and Manu (Rakshit Shetty). The film is now set to release in a Telugu-dubbed version Sapta Sagaralu Dhaati on September 22 , in the run-up to which the trailer was released, which Natural Star Nani launched online. It’s the same trailer, frame-to-frame, and if you really pay attention, the only major difference is that Katte is now Gadida in the Telugu version. The English subtitles of Sapta Sagaradaache Ello mention Katte as ‘Idiot’, although it actually means donkey, and Gadida too is the Telugu word for the animal.
Sapta Sagaradalu Dhaati follows Manu, a driver for a rich business tycoon, and the love of his life, aspiring singer Priya, as they dream of a future together. While her hopes are more modest, Manu has higher aspirations, to get to which he agrees to take the blame for something he’s not done in exchange for a handsome amount. But when things then don’t go as per plan, and Manu is stuck in jail, it takes a toll on his relationship with Priya. Can the duo weather through this storm? That’s pretty much what Side A is about. The film also stars Pavitra Lokesh, Gopalkrishna Deshpande, Achyuth Kumar, Avinash, Sharath Lohithashwa and Yamuna Srinidhi, among others.
The Telugu version of Side B , which will release a week after the Kannada original on October 27 picks up 10 years after the events of Side A and explores what becomes of Priya and Manu and introduces a new character, Surabhi (Chaithra J Achar) into the mix. The makers have not announced if Side A will be released on OTT prior to Side B, or if they want to put both together at a later stage.
