Sapta Sagaradaache Ello: THIS is how long you’ll have to wait between Side A and Side B of Rakshit Shetty’s film

Sapta Sagaradaache Ello is, undoubtedly, one of the most anticipated Kannada films of 2023. The Hemanth M Rao directorial is his second collaboration with lead actor Rakshit Shetty, after Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu. Described as an intense love story, a genre that is new for both Hemanth and Rakshit, Sapta Sagaradaache Ello (SSE) has the actor in two distinct looks, one of which is for the 10-years later section of the narrative.

While Rakshit looks his usual self in one part, the other has him a good 15-20 kilos heavier set, with a prominent scar running across his face, close cropped hair, etc. The first part has him paired with Rukmini Vasanth, while Chaithra Achar is seen with him in the second. The film is supposed to be a July 2023 release, and earlier today, on the occasion of Rakshit’s birthday, Hemanth announced that he was presenting the film as two parts… just like his story. There would be a Side A and Side B, he posted on social media, writing, “Happy birthday @rakshitshetty. Love you maga ❤️ A special announcement on a special occasion!! Our #SSE will be releasing in 2 parts - Side A and Side B. We will be announcing the release dates of both parts on 15th of June.”

Fans who have been waiting for news on SSE are, no doubt, excited that the first part is probably not far off, and responded asking Hemanth not to have too much of a gap between the two instalments, something that OTTplay also voiced while wishing Rakshit on his birthday. The actor, who is in the US as part of his plan to finalize the script of Richard Anthony in peace and quiet, responded and his release plan sounds promising. Turns out, there will not be a major time gap between SSE1 and SSE2. “Three weeks,” is what Rakshit has told us.

Now, if the team sticks to its initial plan of a release around Muharram, say, July 28 for SSE Side A, then SSE Side B can be expected around August 18, or perhaps a few days earlier, what with the Independence Day and Parsi New Year holidays in that week. This, of course, is only speculation. For now, we’ll have to wait another 9 days to know when Sapta Sagaradaache Ello will be in theatres.
