Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side B is now less than two weeks away from its theatrical outing. But for fans of the film, who’ve been invested in the tale of Manu (Rakshit Shetty) and Priya (Rukmini Vasanth) after watching Side A, the wait has been quite long. What was meant to be only a 7 week gap between the two films, eventually became 77 days. But the promise now is that the film will release in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam on the same day, so even audiences who caught Side A on Amazon Prime in their respective languages, can catch Side B on November 17.
At the end of Side A, although it seemed that Priya had moved on and married someone else, fans still held out hope for her and Manu. Sapta Sagaradaache Ello was, after all, about them. But going by the trailer of Side B that came out, it appears that despair is all that’s awaiting Manu. And fans are now bracing themselves for heartbreak. “The trailer itself is so traumatizing! Whole new visual aesthetic! Excellent background score! Terrific trailer cut,” wrote one, while another added, “More heartbreak and time for revenge.” A third wrote that director Hemanth M Rao was preparing audiences to get ready to cry with the trailer. The common consensus so far is that Side B looks far more intense and engaging than Side A, with several netizens commenting that they are looking forward to watching it on the first day first show itself.
The film, which has music by Charan Raj and cinematography by Advaitha Gurumurthy, is Hemanth’s second collaboration with Rakshit, which began as one film and eventually became two. Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side B brings Chaithra J Achar into the fold as a new character called Surabhi. Also on the cast are Gopalkrishna Deshpande, Ramesh Indira, Yamuna Srinidhi and Achyuth Kumar, among others.
