Santhosh Narayanan reveals the request Vijay made to him during the composition of Rajinikanth's Kabali

Musician Santhosh Narayanan, who is currently busy with a few anticipated movies like Project K, left everyone surprised recently when he revealed about a film Vetri Maaran has made without any announcement. The movie's content, going by what he said, is likely to be released as a prequel to Vada Chennai.

He has now spoken about another interesting tidbit about Vijay. The two of them had collaborated in Bairavaa which was released in 2017. However, a year before, they met when the composer was working for Rajinikanth-starrer Kabali. The Pa Ranjith directorial was his first outing with the Superstar.

Apparenlty, Atlee, who is close to Vijay, suggested that the latter should watch Kabali's intro song. The Leo star asked Santhosh to show him the song and said that he has been hearing great things about it. The composer said he was happy to see Vijay enjoying the peppy track and was shaking legs to it.

He added that the star's sweet gesture touched him and that the latter deserves all the success and love that he is enjoying now. The video is now going viral on social media and fans of Rajinikanth and Vijay are actively sharing it on their pages. 

Post Kabali, Santhosh went on to work with Rajinikanth's Kaala as well in 2018 which was also helmed by Ranjith.

Santhosh, who scored a massive success with Dasara, has Saindhav, too, releasing in Telugu this year. Jigarthanda Double X is the next big project of the composer in Tamil. The Karthik Subbaraj directorial is releasing in theatres as a Deepavali release this year.
