Santhanam announces another horror-comedy, leaving fans surprised with an unexpected update. Details inside

Santhanam, who was recently seen in the underwhelming film Agent Kannayiram, will next be seen in Kick, directed by Prashant Raj. The movie's promo videos have been unveiled by makers recently, and we hear that the team is planning to release the movie soon. 

The actor has now come up with an unexpected surprise on his next outing. He has a horror-comedy in his kitty, the shooting of which has been completed, and he has even started dubbing for the movie. Prem Anand, with whom he had teamed up for Inimey Ippadithan, has directed the film which has Surbhi playing the female lead.

He took to Twitter to post a couple of pics from the dubbing session and informed that he's excited to have been part of another horror-comedy project after the success of Dhilluku Dhuddu and Dhilluku Dhuddu 2. The films helmed by Rambhala were released in 2016 and 2019 respectively.

His tweet read, "Dear family, On this auspicious day I would like to announce that after the overwhelming response for dhilluku dhuddu 1 and 2, we have  successfully completed another horror comedy movie on a tremendously scale to entertain you. Dubbing starts from today (sic)."

The project marks the comeback of Surbhi after a short hiatus. The actress, who made a notable debut with Ivan Veramathiri opposite Vikram Prabhu, was last seen in Pugazh in 2015. Velaiyilla Pattathari and Jeeva were other two Tamil movies she was part of. 

The last two outings of Santhanam had left no impact among moviegoers; it looks like the actor is planning to go back to his forte - comedy and horror-comedy. Meanwhile, Server Sundaram, his long-pending project, is yet to see the light of the day.
