Santa 15: The first look of Santhanam's next with Tanya Hope to be unveiled on THIS day

We had reported earlier that Kannada director Prashant Raj is debuting in Tamil with a movie starring Santhanam and Tanya Hope in lead roles. The project which went on floors a few months ago was wrapped up recently. The makers have now announced that the first look of Santa 15 (tentative title) will be revealed on August 31.

Arjun Janya has composed music for the film which has been bankrolled by Naveen Raj under the banner of Fortune films. Leading Sandalwood actress Ragini Dwivedi is playing a crucial character in the film which is touted to be a comic caper.

Santa 15 is expected to hit the screens this year. Santhanam's last outing was Rathna Kumar's Gulu Gulu which was released in theatres a month ago. Agent Kannayiram, the official Tamil remake of Tollywood movie Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya, is another project the actor currently has in his kitty.  

Tanya Hope, who made a notable debut with Thadam in 2019, is looking forward to multi-starrer flick Golmaal which has her sharing screen space with Jiiva, Shiva and Payal Rajput. The actress was last seen in Tamil in Dharala Prabhu, the remake of Bollywood film Vicky Donor. The movie was released a few days before the first lockdown was implemented across the country.

Santa 15 is the sixth directorial project of Prashant in his career. Orange, which starred Ganesh and Priya Anand which was released in 2018, was his last film.

With the last two movies of Santhanam, Sabhaapathy and Gulu Gulu, not performing at box office, his fans are curious to know what Santa 15 has in store for them. Both the movies lacked an intriguing screenplay and adequate comic sequences which movie lovers expected from him.
