Sankranthiki Vasthunnam: Venkatesh does THIS special act for his family drama

Sankranthiki Vasthunnam is one of the most-awaited Telugu films and is set to release on January 14, 2025, as a Sankranthi special. Bheems Ceciroleo has composed the music, which has already become a blockbuster.

Two songs have broken new records, marking the highest-ever success for a Venkatesh film. Now, the stage is set for the release of the third song, with a special twist: none other than Venkatesh himself will croon this number.

While Venkatesh has sung before, it was more of a dialogue-based track. This time, director Anil Ravipudi wanted someone unique to sing the celebratory song and decided to have Venkatesh take on the challenge.

The makers released a special video showcasing Venkatesh humorously requesting Anil Ravipudi to let him sing the track. The fun-filled announcement video has significantly boosted the film’s hype.

Sankranthiki Vasthunnam marks Venkatesh’s third collaboration with Anil Ravipudi, and expectations are sky-high for the film to succeed at the box office. For Venkatesh, this movie is crucial, as his previous film, Saindhav, was a major disappointment at the ticket counters. 

Produced by Dil Raju on a massive scale, the family drama features Meenakshi Chaudhary and Aishwarya Rajesh as the female leads. Aishwarya plays Venkatesh’s wife, while Meenakshi portrays his ex-girlfriend. Venkatesh will be seen as an ex-army officer in this film, made on a moderate budget.

The film has been completed in record time—under four months. From its launch, the makers planned for a Sankranthi 2025 release, and everything is on schedule.
