Sankranthiki Vasthunnam box office collection day 13: Clocks record numbers on Sunday, nears the ₹ 300 crore mark

Sankranthiki Vasthunnam has stunned everyone with its massive collections and shows no signs of slowing down. Despite crossing the two-week mark, the film continues to rake in big numbers at the box office. 

Sankranthiki Vasthunnam clocks record collections

The Venkatesh-starrer has completed 13 days of its run and earned a whopping ₹10 crore on a key Sunday. This is the highest collection recorded post the first week of its release, highlighting what a solid hit the film is. With this, the total worldwide net collections have crossed ₹160 crore. By tomorrow, the family drama is expected to hit the coveted ₹300 crore mark.

This marks Venkatesh's biggest hit to date, as none of his previous films have even crossed the ₹100 crore milestone. Naturally thrilled, Venkatesh appeared in high spirits at the success celebration event held in Bheemavaram last night.

Speaking at the event, Venkatesh said, "Every time I think of moving on to another project, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam breaks yet another record." He credited director Anil Ravipudi for the film's phenomenal success. The duo has collaborated on three films to date, all of which have been massive hits.

Sankranthiki Vasthunnam OTT rights details

Zee5 has acquired the OTT rights for an impressive ₹30 crore and will begin streaming the film in the second week of February 2025. Producer Dil Raju, who made Sankranthiki Vasthunnam on a budget of ₹60 crore, is reportedly earning three times the profit.

Music composed by Bheems Ceciroleo has been another major highlight, with hit songs contributing to the film's global demand. Meenakshi Chaudhary and Aishwarya Rajesh played key roles in the movie, which overshadowed other Sankranthi releases, Game Changer and Daaku Maharaaj, in a big way.
