If we have to name one Sanjay Dutt movie which is every Indian’s absolute favourite, then it has to be the Munna Bhai series. However, if you have been missing the Munna Bhai era a little too much, we might have some good news for you! Yes, you guessed it right, Sanjay Dutt has confirmed that Munna Bhai 3 might be happening soon.
The 62-year-old Indian actor who recently starred in the movie KGF: Chapter 2 has confirmed this news while speaking to BollywoodLife.com. To his fan's utter delight, it is confirmed that the legendary director Rajkumar Hirani is also interested in the same and they, together, are making lots of effort to realise the wish.
The actor told the portal that he, along with the director, is making every constant effort for Munna Bhai 3. As per Dutt, Hirani is also interested in making the movie’s third part and that is something positive.
Although Dutt and Hirani have done other movies like PK together and might make others in the future too, Dutt’s fans seem to be most interested in Munna Bhai. Hence, Dutt suggests that the audience should request Hirani to quickly take up this project and make it.
Munna Bhai MBBS is a Hindi language comedy film that was released in 2003 and starred Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Gracy Singh and Boman Irani in lead roles. Its sequel, Lage Raho Munna Bhai was released in 2006, where the female lead is played by Vidya Balan.
Sanjay Dutt, however, is the talk of the town after he was seen in the blockbuster KGF: Chapter 2 which was released two days ago. In the movie, Dutt plays the role of a villain named Adheera and it is loved by the audience. Dutt has been returning to the sets after his cancer treatment, and we must say, he has been doing a phenomenal job at it!
