Saniya Iyappan joins acting course in England; shares pictures on social media

Saniya Iyappan, who made her acting debut in Queen, is a popular face in the Malayalam film industry. The actress has played notable roles in major films like Mohanlal’s Lucifer and Mammootty’s Priest. She is also quite active on social media, and is often found sharing fashion tips through her pictures. Speaking of the latest, Saniya has decided to pursue an acting course at the University for the Creative Arts, in England. She has enrolled in a BA (Honours) acting and performance course.

The actress recently shared a picture of her college-issued identity card on Facebook and photos of herself posing in front of the famous landmarks in London, such as the Tower Bridge and the Clock Tower. She also took pictures with wax statues of James Bond actors at Madame Tussauds.

Saniya Iyappan’s acting career

Saniya began her journey in the entertainment industry as a dancer on various television shows. In 2014, she appeared as a child artiste in Baalyakaalasakhi. The same year, she also appeared in Apothecary as the daughter of Suresh Gopi. The actress was last seen in the Vikram Prabhu-starrer Irugapatru. The film that revolves around the lives of three couples also stars Shradhha Srinath and Vidharth.

Saturday Night, starring Nivin Pauly, is Saniya’s last release in Malayalam. The film, directed by Rosshan Andrews, didn’t do very well at the box office. There has been no official confirmation about Saniya reprising her role in the Lucifer sequel, Empuraan.
