Sandipta Sen and Soumya Mukherjee get engaged

Actress Sandipta Sen and her boyfriend Hoichoi official Soumya Mukherjee are officially engaged. Their engagement party took place on December 2 in a garden house in Ballygunge. They are all set to tie the knot on December 7.  

Sandipta shared some photos on her social media. She wore a cream lehenga with light makeup. Her family is in full wedding mode. She did a special performance for Soumya. She was accompanied by her close friends and family. 

Sandipa's friend Twarita Chatterjee was contacted by Anandabazar Online. Twarita got married two years ago and Sandipta reportedly had lots of fun. This time, the reverse is happening. Twarita is having fun at Sandipta's wedding. She said, “There were many arrangements. But it was not like we had ample time for planning. The lehenga suited Sandipta. We could not do a lot of rehearsal. Her father and uncle also performed. Soumya’s maternal uncle's family also performed.” 

Twarita further added that fish items and biryani were on the menu. Earlier, in an interview with OTTplay, Sandipta said, “Soumya and his friends are all fans of biryani. Hence it will be there on the engagement day.”.

Sandipta will be seen in the bridal outfit in a week. She planned for traditional attire for the day. Her friends will deck up likewise.

Sandipta’s Bodhon 2 is all set to be dropped on Hoichoi. She will also be seen in the second season of Noshtoneer. How many days of break would she take for her wedding? “I think four days after and six days before D-Day. That’s all I think,” she said.
