Sanam Teri Kasam Box Office Collection Day 7: The past seven days have been surprising for the Indian box office, as the Hindi film scene witnessed a fascinating turn of events. A re-release outperformed two fresh releases and two massive re-releases. Yes, we are talking about Sanam Teri Kasam, which has not only surpassed Loveyapa and Badass Ravi Kumar but also left behind Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. Now, as it completes its first week since re-release, the movie—including its original lifetime collection—has smoothly crossed the Rs 30 crore mark and is just one step away from being declared a hit film.

Sanam Teri Kasam Box Office Update

As per Sacnilk, on Day 7 of its re-release, Sanam Teri Kasam earned Rs 2.15 crore at the Indian box office, maintaining a consistent performance. On Day 6, the film collected Rs 2.75 crore, following Rs 2.85 crore on Day 5 (Tuesday). This brings the total collection of the re-release to a staggering Rs 26.50+ crore.

This also gives the movie a chance to achieve a massive milestone co nsidering its lifetime earnings. If the original Rs 9 crore collection from its 2016 release is added to the re-release revenue, the total stands at Rs 35+ crore. Made on a Rs 18 crore budget, the film has already earned over 95% in profit, making it just a step away from being declared a box office hit.

Sanam Teri Kasam Misunderstanding

According to Bollywood Hungama, a few months ago, reports of Sanam Teri Kasam 2 went viral, sparking excitement among fans in Ratlam. When posters for the re-release appeared in theatres, loyal fans rushed in, expecting it to be a sequel. However, when the lights dimmed and the film began, they realized it was the same 2016 movie, which did not match their expectations.

A source said, “Nevertheless, they watched the entire film but later complained to the theatre owner. The owner, shocked by their grievances, clarified that he had never advertised it as a sequel. The disappointed moviegoers eventually understood his position and left.” The source added, “Once Ratlam residents learned that the 9-year-old Sanam Teri Kasam was re-released and not its second part, the occupancy in the evening and night shows dropped.”
