Sanam Teri Kasam's re-release has been breaking all records and has now earned double its lifetime box office collection from the original run itself. It is to be noted that this box office collection is on a Monday, which is where films usually see a dip. Thus, this once-flop movie is now well on its way to being a blockbuster. Sanam Teri Kasam earns double its original lifetime run by first Monday

When it was released nine years back, Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane's Sanam Teri Kasam had earned Rs. 9 crore and was declared a flop. But the film has redeemed itself and how! By the first Monday, Sanam Teri Kasam has earned over double of its original lifetime run. The movie has minted Rs. 18.50 crore by day 4.

Sanam Teri Kasam gets the biggest Valentine's Week boost

Sanam Teri Kasam, once overlooked, became one of the most loved films once it was out on OTT. Thus, the movie received the biggest boost after releasing on February 7, which starts off Valentine's Week. It saw the biggest weekend after earning Rs. 15.50 crore on the weekend, and Rs 3.25 crore on its first Monday.

Sanam Teri Kasam re-release expected run

In its re-release, Sanam Teri Kasam is set to beat its original lifetime run by almost five times. Given the current trend, Sanam Teri Kasam might end up minting Rs. 30 crore by this Friday, which is also Valentine's Day.

It is interesting to note that with Loveyapa and Badass Ravi Kumar not performing as expected, Sanam Teri Kasam definitely has an upper hand. But, with Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava scheduled for Valentine's Day release, the movie's box office collections could be impacted. Sanam Teri Kasam faces further competition from Christopher Nolan's Interstellar and will see more competition when Captain America: Brave New World releases on February 14.
