Samantha is gearing up for her second theatrical release this year, Yashoda, after the love-triangle Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal. Yashoda is a new-age thriller helmed by debutants Hari and Harish, produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under Sridevi Movies. Days before the release of the film on November 11, the actress revealed that she was diagnosed with an auto-immune condition called myositis and battled the same to dub for the film as well.

Though many believed that the actress would be unavailable to promote Yashoda due to her fragile health condition, Samantha has proved why she's a cut above the rest. While Samantha has been aggressively spreading the word about Yashoda through her social media handle over a few days, she has now allocated a day's time to promote the thriller despite her dicey situation. The Family Man 2 actress took a cue from her director Raj Nidimoru to find inspiration and promote Yashoda.

"Like my good friend @raj.nidimoru says, no matter what the day is like, and how shitty things are, his motto is to Shower Shave Show up !! I borrowed it for a day ♥️ For #yashodathemovie promotions ..see you on the 11th," Samantha shared the news on her social media handle. This truly shows her commitment to the profession and why she's always a producer's favourite. The actress is immensely confident about Yashoda's prospects at the box office and reportedly said yes to the film in just 45 minutes.

In her latest look, Samantha is in a geeky, bespectacled avatar donning a black top in style. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Unni Mukundan, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma and others too play important roles in the film that'll simultaneously release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. Mani Sharma has scored the music for the film which has cinematography by M Sukumar and is edited by Marthand K Venkatesh. Pulagam Chinnarayana and Challa Bhagyalakshmi have written the dialogues.
