Last week, television actress Hina Khan revealed that she has been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. After she shared her health update, several celebrities and her fans sent strength to the actress and wished for her quick recovery. South Indian star Samantha Ruth Prabhu, too, is praying for Hina's speedy recovery from cancer. Samantha reposted Hina's Instagram post on her social media account and called her a 'warrior'.

Hina Khan took to her Instagram handle and spoke about the awards night when she knew about her cancer diagnosis yet attended it. The actress revealed that she attended the event and went straight to the hospital for her first chemotherapy session. Resharing this post on her stories, Samantha penned, "Praying for you realhinakhan, warrior (sic)."

After Samantha prayed for her speedy recovery, Hina responded to the same. "Takes one to know one... I know you're an absolute star... and the way you've handled all that life threw at you is beyond amazing. Lots of love and blessings (sic)," said Hina.

For those who are unaware, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was earlier diagnosed with the autoimmune disorder myositis.

In her social media post, Hina Khan opened up about the awards night she attended despite her cancer diagnosis. The actress chose to normalise it not just for herself but for everyone.

"This award that I received right before my first chemo was not my motivation alone, infact I attended this event to reassure myself that I am living up to the benchmark, I have set up for myself (sic)," penned Hina.

On the work front, Hina was last seen in Amazon miniTV's series Namacool. The actress was seen alongside Anushka Kaushik, Abhinav Sharma, and Aadil Khan. It premiered on the platform on May 17, 2024.
