Samantha and Naga Chaitanya got married in 2017. Four years into their marriage, the duo announced their separation on October 2, 2021. They issued an official statement regarding the separation on social media. Earlier this year, Chay revealed their divorce came through in 2022 and they have been legally single for over a year.
On Sunday (October 8), Naga shared a photo of Hash (a French bulldog), that he and Samantha welcomed when they were together. This led to speculations of the ex-couple's reconciliation. However, there is no truth to the rumours.
Samantha, Naga Chaitanya not getting back together?
A Hindustan Times report suggests that Naga and Samantha are close to their pet dog, Hash. "They brought Hash into their life when they were together, and are close to him. They are co-parenting the pet dog together, and Hash is with Naga these days as Samantha is travelling globally," a source told the publication.
A source further mentioned that Samantha and Chay have moved on in life and aren't looking to patch up. "They have made peace with the fact that they can’t be together, and cherish the moments they spent together as a couple. So, there is no chance of reconciliation between them. Their families also have accepted this and are not even trying to help them patch up or anything," added an insider.
The insider also stated that Samantha is currently focusing on her health and travelling the world. On the other hand, Naga has kept himself busy and is reportedly going strong in his love affair with his rumoured ladylove Sobhita Dhulipala.
Naga Chaitanya's love life
After getting divorced, Chay has reportedly been in a relationship with actress Sobhita. Neither of them has reacted to the relationship rumours.
Samantha's work front
On the work front, Samantha was recently seen in Kushi with Vijay Deverakonda. Directed by Shiva Nirvana, the movie had a theatrical release on September 1, 2023.
