Samajavaragamana on OTT: Creates a new record, clocks 100 million minutes in just 40 hours, read to know more

Samajavaragamana, the latest release from actor Sree Vishnu, took the audience by storm, creating a sensation in both India and the US. The film made just over Rs 50 crores at the box office and also clocked the one million mark in the US which is a significant achievement for a small film. 

Samajavaragamana marks Sree Vishnu's triumphant return to success after a long gap. He was only giving back to back flops in the last year or so. On the other hand, the digital rights of Samajavaragamana have been acquired by the popular Telugu OTT platform, Aha, for a fancy price. 

The makers have made substantial profits from this deal and Aha will also make big money with this film in terms of subscriptions. Samajavaragamana revolves around a couple mistakenly perceived as first cousins by their relatives and what follows is a series of crazy and fun moments.

On the other hand, Aha was supposed to release the comedy caper on July 28, 2023. But they changed plans and released the film a day early on OTT thanks to the massive demand. The film is a massive hit on the OTT platform as well. We have come to that the film has clocked 100 million minutes in just 40 hours which is a record for any Telugu film to date on Aha. 

This shows how much the audience was waiting to watch this film on OTT. The chemistry between Naresh, Sree Vishnu, and Srikanth Iyengar has garnered much praise and become a talking point among the viewers. Samajavaragamana was produced by Razesh Danda, presented by AK Entertainments. The film was directed by Ram Abbaraju.
