Vicky Kaushal starrer Sam Bahadur is an upcoming biographical drama film based on the real-life story of India's first field marshal, Sam Manekshaw. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the star-studded movie is slated to release later this year. After a huge wait, the official teaser of the biopic is finally out. Netizens can't stop gushing about Kaushal in the titular role as well as calling the anticipated film a blockbuster.

The Meghna Gulzar directorial is written by the director herself along with Bhavani Iyer and Shantanu Shrivastava. Bankrolled by Ronnie Screwvala under the banner of RSVP Movies, the upcoming biopic also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh, Neeraj Kabi, Sanya Malhotra, Edward Sonnenblick and Zeeshan Ayyub in pivotal roles along with Ed Robinson, Ed Robinson, Krishnakant Singh Bundela, Keita Arai, Paul O'Neill, Sammy Jonas Heaney and Saqib Ayub as supporting characters. Sam Bahadur is slated to release in theatres on December 1, 2023.
