Sam Bahadur, starring Vicky Kaushal, hit the silver screen on December 1, 2023. Helmed by Meghna Gulzar, the film locked horns with Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal at the box office. Although Sam Bahadur got a slow start at the box office, it gained momentum over the weekend. However, on its first Monday (December 4), the film witnessed a slight dip in its box office collection. By day three, the film's total BO collection was ₹25.55 crore.

According to early estimates by Sacnilk, Sam Bahadur saw a drop in its box office collection. The film managed to earn only ₹3.50 crore at the ticket window. Taking this into consideration, the total collection of Vicky Kaushal's film is ₹29.05 crore.
While Sam Bahadur's domestic box figures are known, not much is out there about the film's worldwide box office collection. For those who are unaware, the movie had an opening of ₹6.25 crore.

Sam Bahadur continues to trail behind Animal in terms of box office numbers. While Vicky's film has maintained a slow pace at ₹29.05 crore, the Ranbir Kapoor starrer is about to enter the ₹250 crore club. Interestingly, Animal is doing exceedingly well at the global box office as well.

Talking about Vicky, the actor essayed the role of Sam Manekshaw in the movie. As for Sanya Malhotra, the actress played the part of Sam Manekshaw's wife, Silloo. On the other hand, Fatima Sana Shaikh was seen as Indira Gandhi, the former Prime Minister of India.

Meanwhile, Vicky's upcoming theatrical release is Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki. The actor will be seen sharing screen space with Shah Rukh Khan, Boman Irani, and Taapsee Pannu in the film. It is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 21, 2023.
