The film, which is consistently making headlines is directed by AR Murgadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Salman Khan and the team started shooting Sikandar in Mumbai in June. Now, according to the reports by mid-day, the first schedule of the shoot, which is currently in progress will be wrapped up today in Mumbai. The actor will finish the first schedule at Taj Lands End in Bandra today with a major action sequence.
When is the next leg for Sikandar?
A source tells the portal that the Kick actor will shoot a crucial action sequence with Prateik Babbar today at the Chtrakoot Grounds. It also involves a plane. "For the scene, the exterior of a plane was specially created. On Monday, the team will film at Taj Lands End where they will complete the action set-piece, after which there will be a break for a month-and-a-half,” added the source.
The source also reveals that the team will be taking 45 days to build a set at the SRPF Ground in Goregaon and hence the next schedule is planned for August. The source adds, “Murugadoss’ team has planned the schedule such that through the rains, the set will be constructed." The makers will shoot some more action sequences and crowd-heavy scenes in mid-August and it will be a straight 40-day schedule.
Meanwhile, just a couple of days ago, the official account of Nadiadwala Grandson shared a peek from the sets of Sikandar. The picture featured the poster of the film alongside Salman Khan's iconic bracelet. The post read, "Lights... Camera... Sikandar, also starring Rashmika Mandanna is directed by AR Murgadoss, making it Salman's first collaboration with the director. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film is set for release during the Eid weekend of 2025.
