Salman Khan to resume Sikandar's shoot?

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan recently lost his friend and senior NCP leader Baba Siddique. The senior politician was shot dead in Bandra, Mumbai. While the investigation into Siddique's case is ongoing, Salman's safety is questioned due to looming threats. Despite that, the superstar has reportedly made it clear that his film Sikandar's shoot cannot be delayed. According to a Mid-Day report, the makers have chosen new locations for the film's shoot in the city.
The makers of Salman Khan's Sikandar had earlier planned to shoot in Hyderabad. However, the team has reportedly decided to finish the Mumbai leg first. They are considering new locations for the same. The media report suggests a week of robust shooting has been planned. Khan's co-star Rashmika Mandanna will reportedly shoot her portions with the superstar before she moves down South to finish Pushpa 2: The Rule.
The buzz is that Salman's security will be doubled. Earlier, it comprised of 10 to 15-member team. "The number of security personnel will be increased, while that of people on set might be reduced. Intensive security measures—like thorough checking of people stepping on the set, and securing the venue—will be put into place. Salman doesn’t want the production to be halted," a source told the tabloid.
Meanwhile, Arbaaz Khan recently spoke about brother Salman's safety and their family's well-being after Baba Siddique's murder. At an event, Khan told Zoom, "We are ensuring that everybody, along with the government and the police, is making sure that things go the way they should, and, he’s (Salman) protected. Everyone is doing their best. We want to stay this way right no."
For the uninitiated, Salman's friend and senior NCP leader Baba Siddique was killed on October 12, 2024. He was shot dead by three assailants outside his son Zeeshan Siddique's office. Stay tuned for more updates!
