Salman Khan will soon begin the shoot for AR Murugadoss' movie Sikandar. Set to release on Eid 2025, the film will mark the superstar's return to movies after Tiger 3, which was released in 2023. Following the firing incident outside Salman's Mumbai residence, security has been beefed up for the superstar. According to a Mid-Day report, the exact dates and locations of Salman's Sikandar have been kept under wraps. The details will be only disclosed to a core group of 10 people.
According to the tabloid, the pre-production work of AR Murugadoss' Sikandar will begin soon. However, the crew has been told that Salman Khan's exact shooting dates, locations and whereabouts will not be disclosed to them.
"Salman and producer Sajid Nadiadwala have decided that only a core group of 10, outside of the actor’s personal security detail, will be privy to this information," a source revealed. A fortnight before the shoot commences, Salman Khan's security team will take over the location and secure it.
Only after Salman's security team is assured of the venue's safety, will the film's shoot begin. The idea is to follow the same process before every location change. Amid the death threats, Salman recently visited Dubai for two events. Needless to say, the security was beefed up for the superstar when he left for Dubai and returned to Mumbai.
On April 14, two men fired gunshots outside Salman Khan's Mumbai residence, Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. Within two days of the incident, Mumbai Police found the culprits from Bhuj, Gujarat. After this shocking incident, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited Salman Khan's residence and assured the superstar of Y+ security.
On the work front, Salman was last seen in filmmaker Maneesh Sharma's Tiger 3 with Katrina Kaif. The film was released in cinemas on Diwali 2023. His upcoming projects also include The Bull with Karan Johar.
