Salman Khan is currently riding high on the success of Tiger 3. The superstar shared screen space with Katrina Kaif in Maneesh Sharma's directorial. While the film continues to enjoy a good run at the box office, Salman is now ready to kickstart his new projects. Khan's upcoming project is The Bull, helmed by Vishuvardhan. The latest development is that Salman will begin shooting for the movie in February 2024.
Salman Khan to begin shooting for The Bull
According to a Pinkvilla report, Salman Khan has allotted dates in bulk to Karan Johar for The Bull. The film will be backed by KJo's Dharma Productions.
"He will be shooting for this film from February to August, and the prep work to change his body structure has already started. Karan and co. wish to put up multiple sets in Mumbai costing a bomb as the idea is to recreate the era gone by with a proper art team rather than recreating them using VFX. The work on creating the costumes and uniforms is also in progress," a source told the entertainment portal.
Salman Khan to play a Paramilitary officer?
As per the media report, Salman will essay the role of a paramilitary officer. The movie is reportedly set against the backdrop of the Indian Army. And the makers intend to do full justice to the army's missions and heroism. The movie might release during Eid 2025.
The Bull will mark Vishnuvardhan's second Hindi film after Shershaah. The filmmaker helmed the Prime Video film, which starred Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani.
Salman Khan's upcoming projects
Apart from The Bull, Salman has Tiger vs Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan. Both superstars will reprise their characters from the YRF Spy universe. As of now, there's no clarity about when the film will hit the big screen. However, it's been reported that Salman might shoot for the film in January 2024. More details are awaited.
