Despite Salman Khan's life being in danger, filming of Sikandar is proceeding at a rapid speed. The superstar departed for Hyderabad last week for the continuation of the action drama after wrapping up filming in Mumbai. With four tiers of protection, Khan is ready for the month-long event.
As per reports in Mid Day, making sure the superstar is safe is AR Murugadoss's first concern as a filmmaker. The unit has increased security at a Hyderabad palace hotel, where gunfire is audible. An insider informs the tabloid that only the film crew has access to a walled-off section of the property.
Two of the sets are located in the city itself, while the palace hotel serves as the primary venue for all three. Despite only using a fraction of the hotel for filming, the crew has effectively turned it into a fortress by securing access to the entire property. Guests have to pass through not one but two layers of screening: the hotel's own and Khan's security detail. The hotel grants prior authorisation to all guests after thorough background and identification checks. The source also mentions that there is a stringent no-swapping policy and that the staff face daily checks.
After convicted mobster Lawrence Bishnoi threatened him, the government permitted the superstar to have security guards installed. Reportedly among them are NSG commandos and police officers. According to what the tabloid has learned, Khan has also hired a private corporate security service.
The source claims that his security system has four levels. Included in this is the hired private security detail, which comprises former paramilitary members. Additionally, the Hyderabad and Mumbai police departments have provided cover, and Salman's long-time bodyguard Shera has personally selected the crew. An entourage of 50 to 70 security detail members surrounds the superstar.
Khan will travel to Dubai for his Da-Bangg Reloaded event after filming two songs with Rashmika Mandanna, which will take place over the course of a month.
