Salman Khan says sequels to blockbusters Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Andaz Apna Apna 'can happen'; Shares updates on Tiger vs Pathaan

Salman Khan is expected to deliver a blockbuster through the release of Sikandar. The film, directed by AR Murugadoss, will be released on March 30. Ahead of the release, the actor interacted with the media, sharing important updates about his movies, such as sequels to Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Andaz Apna Apna. He also talked about the future of Tiger vs Pathaan. 

Sequels to Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Andaz Apna Apna on the cards?

During the recent media interaction, Salman Khan confirmed discussions about a sequel to the blockbuster Andaz Apna Apna. He said, "Both Aamir Khan and I are excited, and I am sure Rajkumar Santoshi will do a wonderful job with it." 

Speaking about the Bajrangi Bhaijaan sequel, the superstar mentioned, "Yes, it can happen. Kabir Khan is writing it, and the first draft is ready."

Salman Khan on Tiger vs Pathaan

Brushing off the reports of the Tiger vs Pathaan project, Salman shared, "Tiger vs Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan is not happening as of now." Fans were delighted to hear when the news of the two superstars sharing the screen surfaced. But now that Salman has denied all the reports, fans will have to wait.

More about Sikandar

Directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Sikandar stars Salman Khan in dual roles. He plays the roles of Sanjay Rajkot and Sikandar. Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead, Saisri. The cast also features actors like Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, Prateik Babbar, Anjini Dhawan, and Jatin Sarna.

According to the censor certificate, Sikandar's runtime is 2 hours 30 minutes and 8 seconds, and the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has given Sikandar a UA 13+ rating.

Sikander follows Salman Khan as Sanjay Rajkot/Sikandar, who fights against corruption and injustice. He is inspired by his wife and becomes a beacon of hope for the underprivileged.

Meanwhile, after its theatrical run, Sikandar will be available for streaming on Netflix. The film will hit theaters on March 30, 2025.
