Sikandar: Salman Khan is all smiles as he resumes shooting for AR Murugadoss' movie

Salman Khan is a man of his words. The Bollywood superstars always fulfils his work commitments come what may. Despite his rib injury, Salman has resumed shooting for his next big film, Sikandar. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the action-entertainer will feature Salman alongside Rashmika Mandanna. It is set for an Eid 2025 release. As of now, the team is busy with film's shoot. Amid their ongoing shoot, a picture of Salman Khan with producer Sajid Nadiadwala has surfaced online.

Salman Khan resumes Sikandar shoot

Pinkvilla has reported that Salman Khan decided to resume the shoot of Sikandar despite his rib injury. A photo, which the entertainment portal got access to, features Salman smiling with his film's producer Sajid Nadiadwala. The superstar is dressed in a black shirt while Sajid opted for a black t-shirt. 

As per the media report, the team of Sikdanar is currently working on a meticulously designed set representing Dharavi and Matunga. It cost the makers Rs 15 crore to build this set. It further suggests Salman has managed to perform with full care despite his rib injury. This schedule is expected to last for 45 days. Post that, the crew will relocate to a palace in Hyderabad for the next phase of production.

Rashmika Mandanna joins Sikandar

In May this year, Rashmika Mandanna confirmed being a part of AR Murugadoss' film Sikandar. The actress will be working with superstar Salman Khan for the first time. Sharing an ofifcial update on her X account, Rashmika penned, "You guys have been asking me for the next update for a long time, and here it is... Surprise!! I am truly grateful and honored to be a part of Sikandar (sic)."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Rashmika was last seen in the 2023 film Animal with Ranbir Kapoor. It was a blockbuster success. As for Salman, the superstar was last seen in Tiger 3 with Katrina Kaif.
