It's been over 24 hours since the incident where two unidentified men, allegedly commissioned by Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother Anmol Bishnoi, opened fire outside Salman Khan’s Mumbai residence, Galaxy Apartments. The incident left the country shocked, as it targeted the home of a highly influential star so easily. The investigation was launched promptly, with the Mumbai police quickly formulating a plan of action and working on it. Soon, we had CCTV footage followed by alleged stills of the shooter by the evening. However, the forensic team was also on the ground collecting evidence last morning. Now, we have details of how many bullets were fired, what was found at ground zero, and the progress of the police investigation.

The New Update

The forensic team, along with the Mumbai police, has made significant progress in finding concrete details about the incident that occurred in the early hours of April 14, 2024, and how it took place. The emerging details give the exact time of the incident. According to a report by Hindustan Times, the shooters arrived outside Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai at 4:55 am.

The two were on a bike and fired around 5 to 6 bullets. While the family and Salman Khan were sleeping inside the building, the two security guards, Sumit Naidu and Stalin Anthony rushed outside the gate as soon as they heard the gunshots. However, by the time they came out, the men had already sped away on their bike.

The forensic team found five bullet shells around the crime scene and one live round. The analysis indicates that the attackers used a 7.62-caliber weapon. According to the police, the attackers reached Salman Khan’s residence via Bandra Bandstand, a popular location in Mumbai near Salman’s residence. They had their faces covered with helmets. They fired two bullets toward the balcony of the flat on the first floor of Galaxy Apartments, which was covered by a curtain. Another bullet hit the wall adjoining the balcony, while the remaining two were fired into the air.

The Police Find The Bike

The Mumbai police have been very active in the case. They have found several CCTV footage of the alleged attackers, one of which showed them firing at Salman Khan's residence. They even have a clear picture of the attackers, according to several reports. Additionally, the cops have seized the bike used in the attack. They are now probing the role of all the suspects, with the Bishnoi gang at the top, and are also looking into the motives.

Anmol Bishnoi Takes Responsibility

In the evening yesterday, Anmol Bishnoi, Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, took responsibility for the attack against Salman Khan. In a social media post, he wrote, “Salman Khan, do not take us lightly. This firing incident was just a trailer, so that you understand our strength. This is the first and last warning. After this, the firing will happen at your home.”

The post further read, “You consider Dawood Ibrahim and Chota Shakeel as divine. We, however, have two pet dogs named after these two persons. I am not in the habit of speaking much. Jai Shri Ram, Jai Bharat. (Lawrence Bishnoi group) Goldy Brar, Rohit Godara, Kala Jatheri.”
