It feels like 2023 will be called the golden year for the Hindi film industry as it has collectively managed to bounce back to glory after a very dull phase. While Shah Rukh Khan has been omnipresent throughout the year, Salman Khan, with "Tiger 3," decided to make Diwali happy for his fans. The movie, which didn’t open to a very positive critic reaction, still found an audience and one that gave it a good collection. Salman now talks about his low phase after achieving success again.
Salman, who bounced back to success with "Tiger 3," has had a very low phase in the past couple of y ears. A couple of films, including "Radhe," "Antim," and more, didn’t work as expected and were called flops as they ended their theatrical run. The actor now talks about that phase and how his low is not the one that is unique. The entire country has gone through one.
Talking to the media during his group interview (via Bollywood Hungama) recently to celebrate the success of "Tiger 3," when asked about the low phase in his career, Salman Khan said, “The lows that you are talking about, the lows that I have been through, maybe the highest point of 99.9% of the country. So that low also, if I say that it was a low point for me, then fans will say ‘yeh low hai toh hamara kya hai?’ (If these are your lows then what about ours?) So I don’t consider that low also as a low.”
Salman Khan added how one needs to keep hustling no matter what. He said, “You need to keep working harder, and every year that goes by, you need to work twice as hard because you are growing older as well. You need to keep competing with yourself; you are anyway competing with your juniors and seniors, but it is very important to compete with yourself.”
"Tiger 3" takes the Tiger franchise ahead and also joins it with "Pathaan" and "War," making it a Spy Universe. The threequel is directed by Maneesh Sharma and also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in pivotal parts. As for Khan, he will be next seen in "The Bull," directed by Vishnu Vardhan Puri and produced by Karan Johar. Stay tuned to OTTplay for more.
