Although much talked-about Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan failed to make an impact as expected, Salman Khan may be getting ready with another ambitious project on home turf. If latest reports are to be believed, the superstar - whose other upcoming projects include director Maneesh Sharma’s mystery-adventure film Tiger 3 and Tiger vs Pathaan, the latest from Aditya Chopra’s spy universe, also starring Shah Rukh Khan - is in conversation with his brother, actor-director Sohail Khan to reboot his 'jungle adventure' film - Sher Khan.
It was earlier reported that Sohail was quite excited about his directorial venture - Sher Khan - but Salman had apparently asked for some tweaks in the script. The project was eventually shelved due to some technical issues.

Now, it’s surfaced that Sohail has once again started talking about the film with Salman. “Sher Khan is a dream project, and the team has taken all the time to lock the script. Sohail is excited to make his dream project with Salman and bhai is also looking for a jungle adventure,” a source told Bollywood Hungama.
Touted as Sohail’s biggest directorial venture, Sher Khan was apparently “shelved in 2012, due to VFX reasons”. “Now, with VFX going global in Indian cinema, Salman and Sohail are figuring if they can revisit Sher Khan, as the time is right to make our very own Indiana Jones,” the insider added.
In the past, Sohail has helmed movies like Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya (1998), Hello Brother (1999), Maine Dil Tujhko Diya (2002) Jai Ho (2014) and Freaky Ali (2016).
Meanwhile, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan - which featured an ensemble cast including Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh Daggubati, Jagapathi Babu, Raghav Juyal, Jassie Gill, Bhoomika Chawla and Shehnaaz Gill, among others - has crossed the ₹100-crore mark at the box office.
