After threats sent to superstar Salman Khan via email, the Mumbai Police increased security outside his home. A case was filed by the Bandra Police in accordance with IPC sections 506(2), 120(b), and 34. Gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldie Brar, and Rohit Garg were arrested and put in jail earlier on Saturday after they allegedly sent threatening emails to Salman Khan's office.

The threat mail was issued on a Saturday afternoon, according to the Bandra police's FIR.

Sent from the ID of one Mohit Garg, it said, “Goldy Bhai (Goldy Brar) ko BAAT krni hai Tere boss Salman se. Interview (Lawrence Bishnoi) dekh hi Liya Hoga usne shayad nhi dekha ho toh bol diyo dekh lega. Matter close krna hai to BAAT krva dio, face to face krna ho vo bta dio. Abi time rehte inform krdiya hai agli baar jhatka hi dekhne ko milega.”

The Mumbai police give Khan Y+ category security because they believe the actor is in danger. The actor had already received a threat letter from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang when the Maharashtra state government took this action.

Pramod Gunjalkar, a close friend and partner of Salman, brought the lawsuit. An FIR was filed against Bishnoi, Brar, and Garg for criminal intimidation and common intention in response to his allegation.

Salman and his father Salim Khan were the targets of a death threat last year. The note was discovered by Salim Khan's security crew outside of their Mumbai residence close to the Bandra Bandstand promenade, where he regularly runs in the morning. Salman applied for a weapon licence from the Mumbai Police following the threat letter for his personal safety.

In the case involving the alleged murder plot against Salman Khan, the Delhi Police made a shocking disclosure in October of last year. According to the police, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang members made an effort to make friends with the workers at the actor's farmhouse in Bombay in order to learn more about the specific times of his entry and exit.
