Salman Khan once again received a fresh death threat from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. They said that the superstar should either visit a temple and apologize for allegedly killing a black buck or should pay Rs 5 crore. The Mumbai Police stated that they received a threatening message from Lawrence Bishnoi's brother.

Salman Khan gets new death threat

The Mumbai police have received a threatening message from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang against actor Salman Khan, the police said. The threat message gives the actor two options to apologize or pay Rs 5 crore to live. Mumbai Police traffic control room received a threatening message in the name of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi recently on WhatsApp with the message saying that if Salman Khan wanted to stay alive “he should go to our temple and apologize or give Rs 5 crore.”

“If he does not do so, we will kill him, our gang is still active,” the message claiming to be in the name of Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother said. The police said the message came on Monday (November 4) and they have started an investigation.

The process of registering a case at the Worli police station is underway and the phone number from which the message originated is being traced, Mumbai police said. 

This is Salman Khan's second death threat in a month. The Mumbai Police Traffic Control had also earlier received death threats, demanding a ransom of Rs 2 crore from the actor.

On October 24, Mumbai police arrested a man from Jamshedpur who had threatened Salman Khan in the name of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and demanded a ransom of Rs 5 crore.

Salman recently made a cameo appearance in Rohit Shetty's Singham Again as Chulbul Pandey from his film, Dabangg. His screen presence was praised by the audience. 

Meanwhile, he is busy shooting Bigg Boss 18 and also Sikandar. As per a Dainik Bhaskar report, Salman Khan is set to play a dual role in AR Murugadoss' Sikandar. He will be seen as a businessman in the film. While his character is shown as a philanthropist and kind-hearted person, he was also a ‘Dabangg’ in the past. Because of this, Khan's character lives a dual life with the titular character as one of them. The film also features Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role. 

On April 11, 2024, Salman Khan took to his Instagram handle and announced that Sikandar will be released in Eid 2025. Sharing the poster of the film, Bhaijaan penned, “Iss Eid ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ aur ‘Maidaan’ ko dekho aur agli Eid Sikandar se aa kar milo…. Wish u all Eid Mubarak! #SajidNadiadwala Presents #Sikandar Directed by @a.r.murugadoss @nadiadwalagrandson @wardakhannadiadwala #SikandarEid2025.”
