Salman Khan confirms Bajrangi Bhaijaan sequel at RRR event

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan announced the sequel of the super hit film Bajrangi Bhaijaan. If the reports are to be believed, the movie will be written by S S Rajamouli’s father Vijayendra Prasad, who won the National Award for the original. 

The actor was attending the RRR pre-release event, when he updated the news to his fans. Honoured celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Jr NTR and Ram Charan were present during the big event.

“I have a strong relationship with Rajamouli and his father,” Salman said at the event. He seems to have strong bonds with them as they worked together in the 2015 film. And now, they are getting ready for the sequel as well. When Karan asked if Salman was spilling beans on the sequel’s confirmation, he said yes, and added further that he would now be concentrating on RRR.

The 2015 film Bajrangi Bhaijaan helmed by Kabir Khan is a comedy drama that tells a heartwarming story of a Hindu person trying to reunite a young mute Muslim girl with her family in Pakistan. It also had Kareena Kapoor and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in vital roles.

As soon as the news was out, fans were all excited all over the internet. Many shared the video clip and screenshot from the event and penned their happiness out. ‘Megastar Salman Khan himself announcing Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2’ has been the talk on the internet since the event, with the movie’s hashtags already trending.

Meanwhile, the upcoming Telugu period drama RRR helmed by Rajamouli is the most anticipated one of the recent times. The fictional story about two Indian revolutionaries is penned by Rajamouli as well, while the original story is by Vijayendra Prasad.
