After the recent shocking assassination of his close friend and NCP leader, Baba Siddique, Salman Khan's security has been tightened. The superstar has been receiving death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang for some time now. A new death threat from an alleged associate of the Bishnoi gang demanding 5 crore to resolve the ongoing conflict with the gangster has now become the talk of the town. Despite these tough times, Khan has now returned to work, with heavy security.

According to the latest reports by India Today, Salman Khan started shooting for Bigg Boss 18 as he arrived on the sets on October 17th night. He was accompanied by heavy security and stayed at his designated chalet within the compound ensuring his safety. The reports also suggest that the actor will be shooting for the Weekend Ka Vaar episode today, October 18. 

The source further tells the portal that Salman Khan will be shooting in the presence of 60 security personnel and strict measures to safeguard the entire area have been implemented. While outsiders are not permitted to enter the compound, BB 18's crew has been instructed to remain on-site until the shoot of two Weekend Ka Vaar episodes concludes.

For the uninitiated, a threat message was sent to Mumbai Traffic Police by an alleged member of the Bishnoi gang a few days ago. They demanded Rs 5 crore from Salman Khan to settle the feud with the gangster. The message also said that if Salman did not pay, he could face worse than the late former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique faced. 

The tweet read, "A threatening message has been received on the WhatsApp number of Mumbai Traffic Police, in which Rs 5 crore has been demanded from actor Salman Khan. The sender claimed, "Don't take it lightly, if Salman Khan wants to stay alive and wants to end the enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi, then he will have to pay Rs 5 crore. If the money is not given, Salman Khan's condition will be worse than Baba Siddique. Investigation has been started in this matter: Mumbai Police."
