Salman Khan was seen at Baba Siddique's last rites. This happened hours after his family members, including brother Sohail Khan and sister-in-law Sshura Khan, along with Iulia Vantur, offered condolences to Baba Siddique's family.
As per a report on India Today, Salman is deeply affected after losing his dear friend Baba Siddique. Salman could not get a wink of sleep and had been constantly checking up on Baba Siddique's son Zeeshan. He reportedly also co-ordinated on call for the funeral arrangements and also cancelled all his personal meetings for the coming days. It is also to be noted that Salman cancelled Bigg Boss 18 shoot to go to Lilavati hospital in Mumbai, where Baba Siddique received treatment. The actor met Baba Siddique's family soon after the news of the politician's demise broke out last night.
Lawrence Bishnoi confirmed that he was responsible for the killing of Baba Siddique, who was in his car when bullets were fired. Bishnoi had reportedly threatened Baba Siddique 15 days back as well. He is also responsible for sending death threats to Salman Khan and even firing outside his house in Bandra, Mumbai. Thus, the security around Salman Khan and his family has been beefed up. The security is especially protecting the area outside his house after Baba Siddique's sudden demise.
On the night of October 12, three assailants fired bullets on Baba Siddique while he was in his car. The NCP leader was rushed to the hospital but he succumbed to his injuries. Various celebrities including Sanjay Dutt and Shilpa Shetty apart from Salman Khan offered condolences to the family after hearing the news. They were seen making their way to the hospital to be there for the family members.
