Salaar is one of the most anticipated films in the country, as Prabhas has teamed up with Prashanth Neel of the KGF series. The action drama is set to be released in theatres on December 22, 2023. And the pre-release business of the film has been locked for a whopping Rs 175 crore in Telugu states.

Well, Salaar needs to make at least Rs 150 crore to be in the safe zone. This is a massive amount, and things can go wrong if the film has a dull start. So, the action drama needs to have a record-breaking start at the box office.

Some big names are behind the acquisition of these rights in Telugu states. Until a few days ago, the theatrical rights were not being sold as the makers were expecting at least Rs 200 crore from Telugu states. But that did not happen and the rights have been locked at Rs 175 crore.

Well, a large amount of these rights have come from Nizam, as the Prabhas starrer has been sold for Rs 67 crore, which is the highest ever in this region to date. The makers are super confident that Salaar will have an earth-shattering start at the box office, especially in the Telugu states.
