Salaar ended as a smash hit at the box office and gave the fans of Prabhas a reason to celebrate. In Telugu, Salaar recovered most of its money but it lost out in a few areas. The makers of Pushpa, Mythri Movie Makers released the film in Nizam by shelling out Rs 60 crore on the theatrical rights. Not only did they, enter the safe zone but they also made handsome profits from the film's release.

But the case is different as a few distributors in Andhra lost a lot of money. Now, the news is that the producer, Vijay Kirangadur, has personally called a few distributors from Andhra Pradesh and has compensated for the losses they suffered. This is great news and shows how Hombale Films cares about its distributors.

The special aspect is that these distributors never approached the makers for reimbursement but the makers themselves invited a few distributors to return the money. Salaar was also a solid hit in the US and made a handsome profit for the US distributors as it made close to 9 million dollars.

Only in a few areas of AP, Salaar failed to impress and that too happened as the rights were sold for a massive price. But now everyone is happy as Hombale has compensated the ones who suffered losses. Salaar was made on a massive budget and most of the money went into the fee of the actors. Prabhas was paid the highest but the makers have seen handsome profits in most of the areas.
