Those who have watched 'Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire' will know that Prashanth Neel & Co. conclude things at a rather pivotal point in the narrative.

'Salaar' is billed as a two-part epic whose first instalment, titled 'Ceasefire' arrived in cinemas on December 22 amid tremendous fanfare. Prashanth Neel has conceived the films as companion pieces meaning that the second instalment will begin from where things were left off in the first part.
Salaar Part 2 is yet to go on floors but the makers have recently confirmed the film's script has been locked, adding that the shoot is likely to start following a short break from work. Alongside, one gathers that the eventual box office performance of 'Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire' will have a bearing on the development of the follow-up film.
While that schedule seems slightly tentative at the moment, what we do know for sure is that Part 2 of 'Salaar' is titled 'Shourayanga Parvam'.
OTTplay's review notes how Prabhas springs back into form in the film and his on-screen camaraderie with Prithviraj Sukumaran is one of the highlights of the film. Alongside, the rest of the cast including Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha and Jhansi, too, shine with their performances.
