Kiran Abbavaram suffered a big flop earlier this year in the form of Meter, an action drama directed by Ramesh Kaduri. However, the young actor is set to return to the big screen this year to try his luck one more time with Rules Ranjann. While his previous two outings saw him in a pronounced 'action' avatar, the upcoming film promises to present in fun and lighter shades.
Kiran will have the company of Neha Shetty in Rules Ranjann and the duo's on-screen chemistry, which is reflected in the songs and other promotional material, is likely to be the film's main highlight. Rathinam Krishna has written & directed the film with Divyang Lavania and Murali Krishnaa Vemuri producing it.
Rules Ranjann gets a release date
It emerged recently that the film would be a September 2023 release but the makers hadn't announced the exact date yet. Of course, with September already packed with a number of big releases - both in Telugu and other languages - one reckoned that the team of Rules Ranjann had to be shrewd in picking the date. However, with Salaar now potentially out of the way and the final Friday of September up for grabs, it looks like Kiran Abbavaram & Co. have found the ideal release slot for their film.
Rules Ranjann, as revealed by Kiran himself earlier today through a special poster, will be in theatres this September 28.
Sammohanuda & other singles turn out to be huge hits
If the chemistry between Kiran Abbavaram and Neha Shetty is one of the main features of the film, one can also expect Amrish's music to be another of its highlights. The makers have already released three singles from the soundtrack - namely, Naalo Nene Lenu, Sammohanuda and Enduku Ra Babu - and each of them have gone on to become a big hit among listeners. Sammohanuda, in particular, has been a tremendous success online with Neha Shetty's dance moves, along with Shreya Ghoshal's vocal, capturing the imagination of the audience.
