K.G.F. filmmaker Prashanth Neel’s big-budget film Salaar, which stars Prabhas, Shruti Haasan, and Prithviraj Sukumaran in lead roles, is one of the grander films of 2023 that is being eagerly awaited. Slated to hit theatres on September 28, 2023, the Telugu-language action thriller film will also release in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam languages.

Shruti is currently in Hyderabad, spending time in the recording studio, busy with dubbing for her part. But the actor is not just dubbing for her character in Telugu but in Tamil and Hindi as well.

Shruti shared this in a recent Story on Instagram, in which she uploaded a picture while dubbing with the caption, “Guess what I’m dubbing for.”

Shruti, the polyglot
Shruti is among the few Indian actors who are fluent in several languages. She has not only acted in several different language industries, but being a talented singer, Shruti is also credited as a singer in different languages. Shruti believes dubbing in one’s own voice gives unparalleled uniqueness to the role and the character.

Team Salaar on high alert after Jawaan clips are leaked
Meanwhile, the team of Salaar is finishing the post-production work on the film at a brisk pace. But they are leaving no stone unturned to ensure that key information about the film doesn’t get leaked. This is why the pre-release events for the film have not begun.

There were reports that the Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire trailer was to be released at the end of August-end, but director Prashanth is tucked away in music composer Ravi Basrur’s village, Basroor. Prashanth has chosen to stay hidden away in the village to complete the post-production work on Salaar and ensure that there are no leaks.

This comes after the team behind Shah Rukh Khan’s forthcoming action-drama Jawan, which is being helmed by Atlee, was forced to take legal action after the film's footage was leaked.

About Salaar
Salaar is being backed by K.G.F and Kantara makers, Hombale Films. It is slated to be a two-part magnum opus, with the first installment, Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire, scheduled to release in theatres on September 28, 2023.

Prabhas romances Shruti Haasan in the film, which reportedly has an epic feel with a "romantic undercurrent".

Salaar teaser
The first teaser of Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire was released on July 6, 2023. The makers chose to release it at 5.12 am, and even the early hour did not deter fans from watching it in large numbers. The teaser broke all records: it got more than 83 million views in 24 hours, which is something that no Indian film has achieved before.
