Singer Amrita Singh, sister of playback singer Arijit Singh, has just released her first independent music video. Titled Saiyaan Se, the singer says that the song is extremely close to her heart.

The song is part of a three-music video series, with Saiyaan Se being the first installment of the series. The song is composed by Ritu Zeid and written by Dheeraj Kumar. Pooja Chaudhary, Amardeep Phogat, and Abhijit Sonawane star in the video.

This video has been directed by Jay Parekh, while the series is presented by Advani Films.

Speaking about her new song, Amrita said, "Saiyaan Se is a very special song for me. The composition, the lyrics, the melody, everything touched me deeply. It is a beautiful song with the uniqueness of a first-ever pre-announced series of music videos."

She added that she is excited about the new release and is looking forward to seeing more people appreciate her work.

Amrita started singing at a tender age and performed along with Arijit in most of his live concerts before making her Bollywood debut with the Sanya Malhotra-starrer Netflix original film, Pagglait. The film marked Arijit's debut as a music director. Amrita sang the songs Phire Faqeera and the title track Pagal.

Earlier, when Amrita's song Tomake Dekhini from the film Bismillah was released, Arijit took to Twitter to praise his sister, even though initially he thought otherwise.

Arijit wrote, "I thought I will never praise my own sister as I am not supposed to, but she sounds heavenly in this song." He also got emotional and said that his sister's voice reminded him of his mother singing. "Personally, it feels like Maa singing," he had written.
