Saira Banu reminisces about her 22-inch waistline with an old photo

Saira Banu, the veteran actress and wife of late actor Dilip Kumar, has shared a nostalgic photo of herself on her Instagram account. The photo shows her in a black and white outfit, posing with a smile. She captioned the photo, "The 22 inch waistline in days far gone...Oh! Only if Time stood Still... Alas!" 

Saira made her Instagram debut recently by posting two photos of herself with her late husband and superstar Dilip Kumar on July 7. She also wrote a note that included some of Dilip Sahab's favourite Urdu couplets. A part of her caption read, “Sukoon-E-Dil Ke Liye Kuch Toh Ehtemaam Karoon

Saira Banu, who made her debut in 1961 with Junglee opposite Shammi Kapoor, was one of the most popular actresses of her time. She starred in several hit films such as Padosan, Shagird, Purab Aur Paschim, Victoria No. 203 and Hera Pheri. She also acted with her husband Dilip Kumar in films like Gopi, Sagina and Bairaag.

Saira Banu married Dilip Kumar in 1966 when she was 22 and he was 44. They had a happy marriage for 55 years until his demise on July 7, 2021. Saira Banu was by his side till his last breath and performed his last rites. She also thanked his fans and well-wishers for their love and support.

Saira Banu has been away from the limelight for a long time and had devoted herself to taking care of Dilip Kumar. Her latest photo has received a lot of love and compliments from her fans and followers. They praised her beauty and grace and wished her good health and happiness.
