Saindhav stars Venkatesh, Shraddha Srinath kickstart promotional campaign at Vijayawada’s Kanaka Durga temple

Saindhav is one of the many big ticket releases arriving for Sankranthi 2024. Many years after Gopala Gopala, Venkatesh is having a festival release and there are high hopes around the film. Directed by ‘Hit’ franchise filmmaker Sailesh Kolanu, the film has a host of stars including Shraddha Srinath, Arya, Ruhani Sharma, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Jaya Prakash, Andrea Jeremiah and others.

The film is produced by Venkat Boyanapalli under Niharika Entertainment, the makers behind Shyam Singha Roy and Like, Share & Subscribe. After launching the teaser and the first song, the makers will unveil the second single as part of a promotional campaign at Vijayawada and Guntur today. The lead cast and crew will interact with media and college students and promote the film.

While Venkatesh, Sailesh Kolanu and producer Venkat Boyanapalli boarded an early morning flight from Hyderabad to Vijayawada, they were joined by Shraddha and Baby Sara later. They kickstarted their publicity tour by visiting Vijayawada’s iconic Kanaka Durga temple. This will be followed by a press meet and visits to VVIT College and KLU University.

Santhosh Narayanan, who earlier worked for Venkatesh’s Guru (Telugu remake of Irudhi Suttru), composes the music for the film. The first single from Saindhav, Wrong Usage, a party number featuring Venkatesh, was sung by Nakash Aziz (lyrics by Chandrabose). The second track titled Sarada Saradaga focuses on the protagonist’s family life, also starring Shraddha Srinath and Baby Sara.

Jisshu Sengupta and Mukesh Rishi are also part of the cast. S Manikandan cranks the camera and Garry Bh is the editor. Avinash Kolla is the production designer. S Venkatarathnam (Venkat) is the executive producer and Kishore Thallur is the co-producer respectively. Saindhav is set to release in all South Indian languages and Hindi on January 13, 2024.
