Saindhav: Arya returns to Telugu cinema with Venkatesh’s next; here’s his first look as Manas

Venkatesh, who was last seen in special appearances in a Telugu film and a Hindi film - Ori Devuda and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan - is all set to make a mark in a pan-Indian film Saindhav later this year. The film is an action thriller written and directed by ‘Hit’ franchise filmmaker Sailesh Kolanu. Venkatesh Boyanapalli of Niharika Entertainment, who earlier backed Shyam Singha Roy, is the producer.

Saindhav, to release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam on December 22, brings together a wide range of actors from multiple industries including Nawazuddin Siddiqui (in his Telugu debut) Shraddha Srinath, Ruhani Sharma, Andrea Jeremiah, Sara, Jayaprakash. The first look of Arya as Manas was unveiled by the makers this evening.

“Super excited to be a part of this prestigious project #Saindhav. Thanks to brother @KolanuSailesh and @VenkyMama sir for having me. Looking forward to see u all in theatres as Manas,” Arya expressed his excitement about working with the team. In response, the director said he has ‘killed it’ as Manas and that he couldn’t wait to show the world what he did with Saindhav.

In the first look as Manas, Arya means business, donning a white formal shirt paired with a purple pant, sporting long hair while holding a machine gun in his right hand. The film’s shoot is progressing at a brisk pace; the makers recently wrapped a high-voltage climax sequence as well. Santhosh Narayanan is scoring the music for the prestigious project.

Ramajogaiah Sastry has already finished writing two songs for the film. S Manikandan, who also worked with Sailesh Kolanu on Hit 2, is the cinematographer. Garry Bh is the editor and Avinash Kolla is the production designer. Praveen Ghanta is the VFX Supervisor. S Venkatarathnam (Venkat) and Kishore Thallur are the executive producer and the co-producer respectively.
