Despite delivering a box-office disaster, Adipurush, popular actor Saif Ali Khan has not dwelled in discouragement and hopelessness. The 52-year-old actor is all set to make a comeback in Robbie Grewal’s action movie and it will be produced by Pathaan filmmaker Siddharth Anand.

According to a report published in Pinkvilla today, the upcoming untitled movie will be released on Netflix. Not only this, but Marflix Productions – the official production house of Siddharth Anand – has signed a good deal with Netflix as the film is sold to the digital player for a sum of Rs 60 crore.

“Siddharth Anand is the man in demand after delivering blockbusters namely War and Pathaan. His aim with Marflix is to create the biggest action films across the platforms,” added a source close to the development.

The source even told Pinkvilla, “Sid and Robby go a long way and share a bond beyond just cinema. It’s a subject developed by Marflix and has got Robby on board to bring it to the spectacle.”

Interestingly, the yet-untitled action thriller marks the reunion of Saif Ali Khan and Siddharth Anand after Salaam Namaste (2005) and Tara Rum Pum (2007).

Earlier in May this year, a report by ETimes also claimed that Grewal will direct Saif Ali Khan’s action-adventure series for OTT. “Siddharth Anand and Saif Ali Khan are likely to team up again, though Anand is not directing this time. His assistant Robby Grewal is,” read the report by ETimes.

Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan is in London for a vacation with his family nowadays. Siddharth Anand, too, is busy directing Deepika Padukone starrer film, Fighter
